A new image from Byron Bay Australia

12 January 2010 by Chris

This image is a shot of the pacific ocean as the waves break on rocks on the edge of the main beach in Byron Bay, Australia. Here I shot with a high shutter speed to catch the waves in motion as they broke so dramatically on the rocks before me. The thing I really like about this one is the way the action of the waves have been caught in such detail, I have to say it was unnerving getting my camera so close to all that water with no cover on. But at least it paid off this time, at least I didn’t fall in!.
